-They wasn’t really any background noises because they mostly wanted to focuss on the peoples (so the voices and noises they made were clear)

The set took place in their living room, their basement, and bathroom. The lighting was toned down and was more dark to dramatize the setting (which was supposed to be horror and suspenseful). The camera shots liked to mostly focus on the peoples faces, waist and up, long shots, over the shoulder, etc. Their editing had some sliding translations to make the scene look cleaner or would just cut to the next framework (which looked nice). Then, for the sound is what quiet and focussed more on the noises and voices of the people. Of course, there was still some sound effects to emphasize what was going on too, such as the washing machine, the hammer hitting her, Pearl hitting the ground, etc. However, that wasn’t really their main focus since they wanted it to be more quiet for suspense. You can tell with Lester and Pearl that they’ve obviously had arguments before so this was something waiting to happen apprently (give some background info.). Not only that but Lester was very sensitive towards his manliness, very paranoid, etc. They also focussed on the scenes with the poster to show his emotions and such. He also made a wrong call which can effect the future story to show how messy he is right now and in a state of panic. Then, when he finally asked for help he was planning on staging a scene and killing somoene again.
