My product (which is about anime) usually brings up different social groups and issues in the plot of the story. For example, my cover pages background image is a show called Banana Fish, this show brings up topics of rape, abuse, etc. The character learns how to face all these difficult issues with the help of friend Eiji. In retrospect I’d definitely say that my magazine isn’t the most common one out there, especially an English version of it too. My topic itself doesn’t really bring up issues but different types of inside the shows and mangas some do.
I’d say it engages different types of anime fans because usually if we get news about a new series coing out it’ll be in Japanese since most creators are of course Japanese. So it’d make things a lot easier if it were translated into English and put into an organized file. Yes, this does appeal to the anime community.
-Criticism: “It’s a little hard to read because the font is faded. And the background is really bright, making it harder (TOC). That one is fine (The Cover).”
The magazine would be digital so that way everyone can access it.
