The development of digital media technology is so significant to institutions and audiences because they rely on each other. What I mean by that is with the development of new technology coming out to the general public, different media companies will have to adapt to that new tech. As their audiences may use this new form of technology and they don’t wanna lose any of their followers. Since this could directly affect the company's money. Not only that but they also don’t want to look bad by not updating their media. So It’d be in their best interest to keep up with the latest technology if they want their business to go well.
